Joseph N. Gross, "Joe," 82, of Delanco, NJ, formerly of Moorestown, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025. Born on December 28, 1942, in Camden, NJ, Joe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence enriched the lives of many. Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 20 years, Barbara Gross (Lincks); his children, Christopher Gross and Lisa Kuhn (David); his stepson, Michael Butler; and his five cherished grandchildren: Rebecca Gruhlke (Kenneth), David Kuhn Jr., Emily Kuhn, Matthew Gross, and Michael Gross. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Al Lincks (MaryAnn) and Brian Lincks (Connie); three nieces—Aubrie, Morgan, and Brianna—as well as many cousins and dear friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Gross, and his sister, Patricia Gross. A proud graduate of Moorestown High School’s Class of 1960, Joe excelled in both football and cross country during his formative years. He went on to attend Wesley College in Delaware before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University in Camden. Following six years of service in the National Guard, Joe embarked on a successful career in sales. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish ConSerTech, Inc., an energy conservation company based in Moorestown that he operated with dedication until his retirement in 2024. Joe was deeply involved in his community and many charities. Joe enjoys golf and has been a member of the Riverton Country Club since 1984 and served on the Trustee Board for eight years. He served on the Board of Directors of the Burlington County College as well as the Foundation Board. He was a founding member of the Moorestown Breakfast Rotary Club since 1986. Emcee for the Moorestown Rotary Breakfast $10,000 Dinner for 35 years. He was the Emcee for the Moorestown Citizen of the Year Dinner for many years. Joe was on the Board of Burlington County YMCA. Joe also proudly served on the Board of the Hero One Foundation. Joe loved the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies having season tickets to both for many years. He was very Patriotic and loved the American Flag and his favorite animal was the Bald Eagle. Joe was creative, to demonstrate that, his car's license plate was CXLIV. The Roman Numerals add up to 144 which stand for a gross. Besides spending time with his family, one of Joe's favorites things to do was enjoy a good cigar with his friends while sitting on the back patio at Riverton Country Club. Joe leaves a legacy of love, laughter, loyalty and of course, many friendships that will never be forgotten. No matter where Joe went, he knew someone. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
