Annette Emerson (nee Streeter) Annette was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Syracuse University. She obtained her Master’s degree from Union Theological Seminary and Columbia University, NYC with a degree in Christian education. She held positions of Director of Education at the Roslyn Presbyterian Church, Roslyn NY and the Robinson Memorial Church, Syracuse, NY. Annette was also co-founder of Emerson Personnel Group in Moorestown, NJ. Member of the First Presbyterian Church, Moorestown, NJ where she was an Elder, taught Church School, and served on many committees over the years. She was also an active member of the Presbytery of West Jersey where again she served on several committees of the Presbytery and The Synod of the Northeast. Annette was a commissioner to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church USA in 2008. Annette was also a past Board Member of the Tender and past member of the American Business Women’s Association. She helped organize and begin Cub Pack 60, where she served as a Den Mother for ten years. Annette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, William (Skip) Emerson. She is survived by four sons and daughters-in- laws, Stephen (Mary) of Moorestown, Douglas (Cecilia) of Boulder CO, Matthew (Heather) of Anchorage AK, and William (Annemarie) of Moorestown. Survived by seven grandchildren, Luke, Matthew, Rachel, Noah, William, Nicholas, and Luke Matthew. She also leaves many loving memories of her sister Margaret Evans of Syracuse, NY, who went to our Lord September 20,2020 and her brother The Rev. Dr. Richard Streeter and his wife Patricia of Paoli PA, her sister-in-law Ellen Emerson, of Richmond VA and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, on May 25th at 11 am. at the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, 101 Bridgeboro Rd.,Moorestown, NJ 08057. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 101 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ 08057 or to the Davis Phinney Parkinson Foundation, www.davisphinneyfoundation.org.
