Blessed Memory ! Jean Ann Romanoff (nee Wozniak), on July 29, 2022,age 78, of Moorestown, NJ. Born in Passaic, NJ to Stanley and Helen Dombrowski Wozniak, Jean studied nursing at the Jersey City Medical Center, where she would meet the love of her life and future husband, Nicholas. She subsequently continued her nursing profession at Baylor University Hospital, Houston, TX. Jean was the beloved wife of Dr. Nicholas Romanoff for 58 years. She was the cherished mother of four beautiful daughters who she lovingly called her “4 C’s”: Catherine Romanoff LaGrua (Daniel LaGrua), Christine Romanoff, Casey Romanoff Coffin (Shannen Coffin),and Caryn Jeanne Romanoff Giannini (Lorenzo Giannini). She was the devoted grandmother of eight, who affectionately called her “Jay”: Cayleigh and Nicholas LaGrua; Alexander, Abigail, and Anastasia Morris; and Caroline Jean, Brendan, and Declan Coffin. Jean was a stay-at-home mother, an avid reader of history books and mystery novels, and was a Sherlock Holmes enthusiast. Jean was an artist and would often take out her sketch book and, with her graceful flare, pencil the exact likenesses of those in her presence. As a child, Jean would sing and tap dance on television, and, being proud of her Polish heritage, would later be heard humming along to Chopin. She delighted in all things lovely, gracious, and elegant. This was reflected in the beauty of her warm and welcoming home that had a revolving door to the friends of her “4 C’s,” who were also embraced as family. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 am Thursday,August 4th at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Viewing Wednesday evening, August 3, 6-8 pm, at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Wearing of Mask's will be required for the Viewing and Funeral Mass.
