Jean was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Maude Landers and her Husband Edward Thomas. She was a graduate of New York University with her Doctorate in Arts and Science. Jean had worked for the New York Board of Education as a teacher for 10 years. A memorial service will be held 11 am Monday June 13, 2016 at the Chapel of the Evergreens, 3039 Bridgeboro Rd. Moorestown, NJ. Private interment Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the New York University Scholarship Fund c/o NY University 25 W.
