Dr. David F. Headley

David F. Headley, MD of Moorestown, NJ. Died on May 29, 2022 at the age of 73. Dr. Headley received his medical degree from Georgetown Medical School, class of 1977. He practiced medicine in Burlington County for many years and was associated with Memorial Hospital of Burlington Co. now Virtua. In 2012 he transferred his practice to Crozer Health in Pennsylvania where he was still in practice. Beloved husband of Barbara J. Headley (nee Goldman). Survived by his children William Brian Weaver, Adam Christopher Headley, Jennifer Christina Headley, and Lauren Christa Headley, Julie Schatz, Katie Schatz. Granddaughter Olivia Christine Headley. Son of the late Charles E. Headley and Carolyn Cobb Headley. Brother of Stephen (Lydia) Headley, Margaret (Walter) Brosz, Jane (Stephen) Nix and Sarah (Raymond) Trentacost. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Growing up in Denville, NJ., he had fond memories of the boy scouts, and enjoyed hiking, especially to Sunfish Pond, and the White Mountains with his brother Steve. Dave loved the family farm and his father’s garden.. Traveling to Florida and staying at his condo brought him much joy, especially swimming in the ocean and pool, then going to his favorite restaurant, Catfish Dewey’s. He loved his stamp, rock, and coin collection, and watching his favorite movies with Jenn, Dan, and Olivia. He spent hours with his electronic equipment, getting advice from Adam, knowing he would know the answer. He was excited every time Brian sent him a slew of movies to watch and enjoy. As a physician, without a doubt, the most brilliant provider. He always knew what the issue was, and what needed to be done. His medical expertise was undeniable. Everyone knew if Dave was there, everything would be fine. He is loved and cherished by many people. He was a good and honest man. Funeral service 10:30 am Monday June 6, 2022 at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Viewing 5- 8 pm on Sunday June 5, 2022, at the Funeral Home.
