Michael "Mike"

Michael "Mike" Barbaccio, 70, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on December 12, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1953. Mike retired as a Quality Control Engineer at L3 Communications, where he was a reliable, hard-working, and dedicated employee for 40 years. Mike had a great laugh, a big personality, and a wonderful sense of humor. He was known for his hard work and was a true family man. He had a deep love for music and enjoyed listening to it whenever he could. He was also a passionate fan of Philadelphia sports teams. Mike cherished his children and grandchildren and was a man of resolute faith. Above all else, Mike treasured his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Nancy Barbaccio (nee Werner) and a proud father to his daughters Kristina Saura (Brad), Kimberly English (Mark), and Lisa Barbaccio (Albert). He was the best “Pop” and adored his 9 grandchildren; Kaiden, Giovanni, Matt, Lilianna, Oliver, Santino, Braeden, Piper, and Jagger. His support and guidance was unwavering, and he showered his children and grandchildren with love and affection. He will forever be remembered as a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to those he held dear. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Barbaccio, his mother, Marie Barbaccio (nee: Sulpizio), and his brother, Nicholas Barbaccio Jr. He is survived by his brother, Anthony Barbaccio (Patricia), and his sister, Diana Betz (Edmund) and many nieces and nephews. Their collective memories will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who love him. Mike worshiped at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where he found solace and community. He will be remembered for his dedication to his faith. In his free time, Mike enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing darts, taking trips to the shore and the casino, and fishing. In earlier years, Mike worked as a sound technician for a band and as a hobby liked to play around with the bass guitar. Memorial service will be held 10: 30 am on Wednesday, December 20th at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 318 Chester Ave Moorestown, NJ. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the church.
