Rose M McBride

Rose Marie (McGann) McBride, life-long resident of Moorestown, NJ died peacefully on April 3, 2024. She was the wife of Joseph W. McBride, Sr. and daughter of the late Honorable W. Thomas and Regina McGann. She was the oldest of 8 children. Rose attended 8 years of primary school at Our Lady of Good Council School and went on to graduate from Moorestown High School. She attended St. Elizabeth’s College and Pierce Business School in Philadelphia. She was very proud of her Moorestown roots. Rose was a faithful member of Our Lady of Good Council Church in Moorestown. She was a member of the Riverton Country Club where she participated on their tennis team. She was also an active member of the Moorestown Field Club where she played tennis and golf. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed times around the bridge table with friends and family members. She enjoyed winters in West Palm Beach, Florida for many years. Rose’s life was dedicated to caring for and loving her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, holiday dinners and attending family activities. In her early years, she faithfully aided in the care of her 7 younger siblings. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her husband Joe, Rose is survived by sons Kevin,Tom (Ann), Joe, and devoted daughter, Patricia; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Rose will be remembered for her grace and dignity, displayed even in times of great challenge. She was a woman of strength, integrity, faith and charity. She will be missed by all who loved her. Memorial mass 11 am, Tuesday April 23,2024 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Visitation Tues. am from 10 – 11 am at the Church. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Moorestown, NJ.
